Bob we just did the same thing in our Monaco.. We were backing in to a shop to get new tires and didn’t see the top of a dumpster.. Anyway we’re in Surprise, Az.. We took it to a body shop here that does motor homes.. They did a great job you wouldn’t even know it now.. Only two weeks and they had to take off the rear cap.. The ladder is still on back order. We had the chrome one and wanted to keep that.. It was not a cheap fix but it turned out really well. Good luck with yours.

I recently purchased a Newmar Duchstar 4307 with a 400 ISL cummins. I also pull a jeep Liberty. Mountainaire and my DS close to same numbers 44k GVW and 50k GCVW. General recommendation and you will see this in earlier posts is 1k pounds per hp. Thus at 44k we are a little under powered, liberty is about 5k, so really a 500hp ISX would be best match.
However, I just drove from NB Canada to Florida through PA on 81 back across to 95, only once felt underpowered, was forced to almost to a stop at the base of long hill it took a while to get rpm up to take advantage of hp and torque. After that I realized I should have forced transmission down, which i did from 81 to 95 on steeper grades with no problems.
Based on my experience, the coach you are considering will be great.I am pleased with mine, The tag makes a big difference in handling and in that era Newmar and the Mountainaire were among the best -no problem getting parts from Newmar/Winnebego. Hope this helps. Bob Munro
