Hey Dwight, I was just looking at HitchSource.com and found a harness that is supposedly designed for my Scion. I don't know if I can attach a picture but it appears that it T's into my existing wiring so that the stock bulbs are used and then it looks like it has a wire that goes from back to front and is wired into a 6 prong plug. I'll see if I can attach a pic. I'm not sure if this will work. Let me know. Thanks.

have stock in a company that went public. quit my job so we could get motorhome and live in it and travel around. trying to get financing but that has stalled things. so still waiting on that to move forward. worst case we will move to texas and wait till financing can get done. gonna happen, just matter of when.

    Dwight,
No word from Ford at this point. I did hear, however, that someone on the Forest River forum asked Ford and got a one sentence answer "Don't do it, it will put too much stress on the bars." This is, of course, bull. In these cases it's easier and safer for the manufacturer to say no. No liability, no work involved, just say no. I'm an engineer and my calculations say the stress on the bar is actually the same or less with the mod.
