Hi there, not sure if you will check this but I saw your post but couldn't reply because it was too old. I was wondering where you ended up wiring your switch? Like where did you connect it to the existing 12VDC. I am in the same situation and wondering about how to connect the wire and where to put the switch. Thanks so much if you happen to get this.
