Mike, I read your post about adding a power switch to that "wonderful" Xite radio...I feel the same as you, as this is my second one...YUK! I want to access that thing to do this mod and some other stuff but wonder how you get that dash apart? I have the cheapo Ventana this time and the dash is simple plastic, unlike the way my Essex was built. The various dash panels appear to be held together with...Velcro? I see 3 screws holding the speedo cluster which can be removed, but what about the others?....and does that radio come off the panel its mounted to? Any help you can provide would be appreciated. We became recent owners of a new 2018 MADP 4047. It appears that we can make the same split screen monitor addition that you made. Did you ever add the rear monitor using the wireless video kit? Just checking in on how satisfied you have been over the past 1 1/2 years with the changes.
We are grateful for honest thoughts.
