Mine did the exact same thing and then all of a sudden it went to working normal. I didn't do anything. But my main pump was changed in the mixing box for a new larger pump and that may have helped. They never could get it to not work properly.
One thing you might check is the anti freeze tank full. Mine had burped and it was below the low level line. That is all I had done when it went back to working correctly.
