My 2005 4320 Newmar Dutchstar is cooling after compressor change one month ago. Not yet installed combo coil, was employed in Newmar Units starting in the 2006 model year. The number is RV213152. My 2005 Dutch A/C is on the 2006 side of the transition year. A/C tech and I were certain that there was no leak at the compressor after many inspections under the black light and sniffing around the clutch housing. We were wrong. Evans reported that there was a known problem on many Spartan Dutch Stars due to over pressure with the OEM pressure switch. Hoses failed and front seals in compressors were damaged. Old posts on several sites reveal that many pressure switches were replaced but failure of other components damaged went undetected. (Seals) and O Rings responsible for our slow to fast leaks remained. Will post further information as I undertake my traveling season starting soon. For now I have A/C after testing for one month after compressor change.
