Hi Kevin, your coach will pull the F-150 without issue. In fact, we’ve towed an F-150 for about the last 6 years. Our first coach was a Tiffin Phaeton with the same Allison 3000, but with a Cummins ISC 380. Our current coach is an Aspire with the ISL9 450 and Allison 3000.

In either case, you only know the Pickup is behind the coach on a long grade.

Personally, I like the versatility of the F-150, and the comfort. Periodically, we will load a gold cart in the bed.

With regard to towing equipment, we currently use a Demco Excalibar, Blue Ox baseplate, a Roadmaster Brake system, and basic diode light kit.

If I was starting from scratch, I would use the Ready Brute Elite towbar and braking system.

    I hope this helps.

    -Matt
