Hi! I saw your picture of the CHF and that you’re an ACE 29.3 owner and in Ohio. We are in the Akron area and have just purchased an 2018 and would like to make this mod. Is it as simple as moving the bolts for the sway bar to the lower position? Makes that much of a diff!??

I am glad it worked out for you. I have the 1999 F-53 chassis. I would never have bought Ford If there was no way to improve the ride and handling. I like the front solid axle for strength and durability, but it sucks straight from the factory. I don't know why Ford doesn't spend a few more bucks and enhance the ride. Actually I do know why. Money!

I installed several sets as service manager. As I said in other posts, If you talk a man into spending $600.00 or more, He better see an improvement in the ride. The two main things to remember is #1 tire pressure #2 air bag pressure. The pressure in the tires is posted on the wall of the motorhome, next to the drivers seat. There has been a lot of misinformation on this placard. It is for your motorhome and your motorhome only. It has the VIN number of your motorhome and gives the max weight of your motorhome. The tire pressure is for a max loaded motorhome. On my Pace Arrow it is 85 pounds. If I inflate the tires to max sidewall pressure it rides like a buck board. The airbags usually work best at about 24 psi. That usually raises the front end about 3 inches. The rubber bag absorbs most of the vibration. from the axle. It will make a real difference in the ride. Your motorhome will never ride like a Caddy, but the bags will really help.
