I think I'm getting conflicting information so since you have changed yours I thought I'd message you directly. Is your wall fill Check Valve behind the white panel where you actually fill or is it somewhere else if you can recall? Is it near the water pump itself? (my water pump is in a different bay than the water fill bay) I don't see a valve behind my panel and the diagram someone posted looks to be a toilet check valve buried somewhere in a wall.
