Mike sorry for troubles, the picture of shaft that I showed is in compartment with motor, the nut for manual retraction would be in compartment to the left of that compartment. Its hard to see may need a flashlight, look on shaft to the right.
The shaft has locking Allen screws that turn into the slots you see on the shaft. If these are backed off the shaft and slide will be free of motor drive mechanism.
You will need some people to help get slide in its heavy and has to go up ramp.
When you get it in lock it with bars.
It has to be something simple 3 Newmars never had a problem with slides on any of them.
Since slide controls changed people have been having problems sorry to hear this.
I have no problem with helping you thats what we are here for, you have a nice coach just have to get bugs out of it evidently was never done by previous owner.
