Also I am doing the slide wiper seal on Monday. I know the sides need to overlap the bottom and the top overlap the sides. With one long piece I'm guessing you start on a bottom corner and work around, is that correct? Also how did you cut the seal at the corners?

Thanks for the info. I bought the 2002 diplomat, it is a 38 pat not a 40. The rear bedroom has had ALOT of water. I am removing everything from the bedroom to get all the carpet out of their. With bedroom slide in water pours in. The seal that mounts on slide and makes contact with MH when shut barely makes contact at the top. I am ordering a bigger D seal and I am replacing the wipe seal also. As I have been removing the rotten wood flooring (2 sheets OSB) I have not found any screws, just can see that the bottom sheet of wood was glued to the foam board that is under the wood. As I replace the wood sub flooring do I just glue the 2 pieces of OSB together and then glue it down to the foam board? Thanks for any help

Hello Mutt, I noticed that you are an experienced Monaco owner. I am looking at a 2002 diplomat 40 pbt. Cummings/Allison, 19,000 miles. It has been sitting for about 6 years. Started up fine, drove it and all seemed good. In one of your posts you nailed the 2 leaks I have found on this rig. The rear bedroom slide appears to be leaking but it has only affected the floor. The wood floor by the front of rear slide has had alot of water and will need to be replaced. wood all the way to the ceramic tile is wet. Also I see a little water mark on the wall right next to driver seat just at the window and behind it. from your post it seems like some slide seals and some re-chaulking should take care of the leaks. the inside of the rig is beautiful- hardly used and I can get it for $9k. any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
