I did one hitch, 1969-1973. Out of weapons school in Denver I went to Misawa Japan for 2 yrs. From Misawa our load team went TDY a BUNCH to 2 bases in Korea. When I returned to the states I was stationed at Myrtle Beach SC (great duty!!) I loaded bombs on the flight line oversees but in the states I worked in the weapons release shop (the electrical checkout part of weapons). Really enjoyed it because by that time I was an E-5 & was doing pilot debriefing a kinda cushy job!! I worked on F-4s & A-7's. Now I'm retired & we just began RVing last year.
