I'm not sure if its envy or ignorance. I'll give them the benefit of doubt and say its ignorance.
Although sometimes the tone of responses appears to be "bragging", I believe many users on this forum have no idea how their systems operate nor do they realize that other users do not have the same level of complexity or resources to make things happen.
Frig is one example, Yes, if I have 1,000 lbs in batteries, 500 watts of solar, a wind generator, 4000 watts of inverter, a diesel generator, Why would I have a absorption frig.
Keep plugging away, and don't take things personally. :-)
