How many trips planned for the year? Did you get the big Fridge project done? Hope it went well. Having confidence in a steady supply of cold drinks is important.

We stayed home all winter. Heart problems for several months. Leaving for the Grand Canyon then Ventura, CA in two weeks. Really time to hit the road. Should be heading East from Tucson to Oklahoma down 10, middle of May.

Nice setup, i'm going to try and leave a space below the tv for either the satelite box or a radio The wife likes to have a clock in the bedroom. I'm just hunting for the right tv's now. I'm thinking about using the orginal frame as a guide. I will take pictures. Of course it may take me all winter. I spend more time planning than doing. My email is tomgagne@comcast.net.

Hopefully this message gets to you. Yes lots to learn, this was my first DP. I've had it 3 years and I've learned a lot about leaks, fuel filters, gaskets, window putty, door clips, exhaust brakes, awning springs, awning fabric and the expense of not being able to do (some) things yourself. Read the manual front to back, and read many of the articles on the Monaco forum. Very helpful. So far, I'm glad I purschased kids love it, and the wife likes the space as we upgraded from a class c. Mine doesn't wander and it had a steer safe already on it when I purchased it. I replace the original shocks with Koni's which improved the ride. Very soft shock. This winter I'm replacing the tvs. I have the 27" up front which is just too big and I keep banging my head on it. Time to cut the cabinet back. There is a very knowledgeable gentleman with the handle Rex. He definiately knows his stuff. He as a 2001 HR, which you'll find out is the same as a monaco.
