Good afternoon. I just read a post you made to a member that was having trouble with his SmartWheel module. You suggested that he implement a relay to take the high voltage away from the SmartWheel module, which would prevent the burned wires and would deliver the full 12 volts to the headlights (brighter).

I am having the same problem. Both low beam headlight wires (1 & 2) on the J12 connector on the SmartWheel module are charred and the plug surrounding the connectors is melted...and of course my low beams don't work.

Can you further explain how a relay would be connected to the module or better yet, do you have a wiring diagram you could share? I'm fairly handy with repairs but I'm completely ignorant about relays or how they work.

Thank you in advance for you help!
