Not to mention we were relocated to Chapin, IL. ... I swear the filmed Children of the Corn here. It's nothing but an abundance of dead corn fields. Rainy, cloudy and in the 60s, we even had to use the heat!! :( which by the way, seems to work great. I miss the southern people, southern weather, sand. :(
I will call about my window tomorrow and wish I knew how to stop the wall paper on my dinette slide from bubbling :(
I did call lippert the other day about my kitchen slide out. We are not having issues, as of yet. I spoke to an Anthony in tech support. .... he suggested and agreed with me slide supports would be the best route to go for this slide if extending more than a weekend on occasion.
I about feel over, I was led to believe this unit was manufactured for extended stay time. Why would they put this fridge here. I can only assume there is no way to haverify it relocated to the wall where the light and switch panel is and dead center of the frame lol. I'm sure there must be a way to reinforce that slide, lippert must can offer some modification suggestions.
Right now, we are dealing with sound going in and out on our tv in the living room. If we change the channel the sound comes back on so we just return to the channel we were watching. It's so annoying.
So sorry it has been a while. With my husband's work as a coating inspector out of the Tampa office, they have been loaning him out, and that translates to keeping us rolling.
On the AC. We set them on AU, and they would run for what seemed like forever. Once they cycled off they never cycled back on. Our bedroom unit was 13K, it was not blowing cold enough air. The living room our 15K, was a dometic brisk, apparently these are all junk... per the wonderful mobile repair guy. He truly was a wealth of knowledge. He told me to contact dometic and tell them they were not keeping up and that they weren't coming back on if or when they ever did cycle off. Dometic never hesitated to drop ship two that same day. I think they felt sorry for me owning an Evergreen, I didn't care...I just needed working AC.
We went ahead and replaced our OEM tires with a 14 ply. After all we have experienced we thought we would be Pro-active. Wow we really were shown the difference in tires while at the shop.. Unfortunately, the window in our entrance door is now leaking and my kitchen faucet is a pull out and I push the side of the faucet to change the water flow type (shower type flow or just a normal flowing faucet)--it will not engage.
Any suggestions on Sat is appreciated, do you have a satellite attached to your roof or independent and where do you have to go to get a channel package?
Thanks Schrod, for you have given us hope this will all pass and we will start enjoying our coach soon (seems we have repaired everything, we are running out of failures and things that can break)
Did your ceiling fan come with a remote, or do you know if one can be aftermarket ordered-I cannot reach the darn pull string. :(
Well, after me providing documents proving that Evergreen went out of Business, Route 66 (R66) agreed to kick in.
Now our flat window beside the pantry, frameless,is leaking at the bottomleft. We used the ProflexRV crystal clear and just sealed the darn thing, It did not work, so we have put some ducting tape on top and it does not leak so it must be the hinges. I will call to see if this is covered by R66.
The entry door seems to keep condensation over it on the left side only when facing it. Arrrgh In an attempt to eliminate that, we also used the ProflexRV to go around that frame. Unfortunately, this morning--the condensation was there once again.....arrrgggghhh this is frustrating.
Our sensor for the black tank will never go below 2/3, so we have just started dumping from time to time.
Thanks so much for any insight on the condensation on the door or window interior.
Have a good one.
schrod we too have a 375RE 2016. we purchased the day before the mfg went under.
Today we are replacing both a/c units and reattaching the tank that fell out and repaired the underbelly. We did purchase a 7 year Route 66, but they advise they are not covering anything for a year. :-( Any advice on this unit from a fellow RVer is appreciated. We are living in it 90% of the time.
