Hello, Was looking at a 2016 Colorado and thinking about the Readybrake for the truck, Did you figure out the cable/wire to the brake pedal? My current car is not doable. too much interference and no where to drill into the firewall.

Have installed Two New VMM from JCA in Canada in Our Alpine. The Engine Started Up without any Issues ( I now have a Spare VMM -- The original )
After the Engine Started, Attempted to Slide Out the Front Generator Slide Out
Discovered that when the Alpine was towed to a mechanic shop in Lafayette LA. there was damaged done to the Generator Slide Out -- Gear Box / Electric Motor / Shaft / Protective Cover --- Also the Electric Step was damaged ---- Now got to find replacement parts
I did located a possible place for replacement parts in Union Gap WA
WRV Auction Parts at Aubrey's RV
    Aubrey's RV Center Inc
Sure Hope they can locate the parts
Will find out today when Carolyn Gefre is back in the Office
At lease Aubrey is NOT located in Canada

Got word back from WHP today. Manufacturer determined that damage in the pump was caused by enter of a foreign object. The report notes that nylon seals within the pump were melted due to extreme temps. I'm guessing that not having a power flush the first time the pump was replaced was the most likely culprit. An expensive lesson learned here.
Good luck and keep on RV'ing.

No resistance at all from AAA. They verified level of membership and all went very smoothly. As for WHP, I had to order and pay for a new pump then pay shipping for the defective pump. Shipping charges were $212. Now we wait and see. BTW, the new pump is 2.5 kg lighter than the first one sent. Hopefully this means that it is a newer pump and they have refined their manufacturing process. I can hope.

Fixed at last. White House Products was really fast getting the new pump to me. I ordered on their web-site Monday evening and they shipped Tuesday afternoon. I had to change shipping address. The web-site indicates they require a follow-up letter or fax to change addresses, so at 1:00 am Tuesday I called them. They assured me that the pump shipping address was updated and they were shipping that day. It arrived Friday morning about 10:00. The folks were finished, including a test drive, by 4:30.
They have spaces with hook-ups for folks waiting for parts. They have a 5 spaces about .25 of a mile from the shop that have 30 amp power and water. They have two sites on the street next to the building. These have 50 amp power and access to water. We were in 1 of these. After the pump was replaced we stayed Friday and Saturday nights and left early Sunday. The place is pretty quiet on the weekends but is pretty noisy during the week. Cost to ship the pump back to WHP is $212.
