Sunday November 30, 2014, Whatever will be...The 2014 adventure comes to an end....
After zipping thru Louisianna, Mississippi and Alabama, then into northern Florida, we got to Jacksonville for Thanksgiving with the remaining family a day early. We really almost made it unscaved when we tried to pull into the Kangaroo gas station just east of Green Cove Springs. We felt like Randy Quade's charachter from Christmas Vacation, rolling into town on fumes. The next thing we found was that...

Today we left Fort Stockton, Texas heading south east just past San Antonio. We hit alot more mountains in Texas than we remember being here. My last statement of there being a whole lot of nuttin was wrong...There's nuttin and mountains. I stand corrected. We are staying at a small RV park called River Shade RV Park in Seguin,Tx, Just about 20 miles east of San Antonio. And, yes it is on a river. The river is pretty...

Trying to get across the state of Texas, no matter what you are driving is an adventure not for the weak. the state is so big that day after day you wake up in the same state. We now have some bad weather to fight. There is a large bad weather front upon us. We are planning on checking the reports first thing in the A.M. and deciding just how far we will drive tomorrow. We just want to stay behind the worst weather and follow it...

Whatever will be....the adventure continues
Yesterday we planned on offroading somewhere near the RV park in the desert. We got to the location given to us by the RV park manager and tried the first hill only
to find that it had soft sand and our tires had too much air to grip. After trying several hills we decided to just drive around on a little firmer and not as steep
hills. Nice views overlooking the Colorado River.
We then decided to take a drive
