Dave.... Really sorry you are having problems. Yes, we did stay at the Hampton all week. Being in the hotel business I spent less than $125 for the week with my discount. My pdi went well. My service advisor, mike, was not very good. He missed some paint issues....they are coming to get my coach and take back and repair, as it was clearly his fault, then since they could not duplicate the dash radio issue... Speakers kept cutting out.... They did nothing. Same thing happened on my trip back home. They sent me. A new radio for me to install. They addressed all of the other issues to my satisfaction. Keep me updated. Paul
We did stay at hotel each night. On Monday check-in, we were told we should be out by Wednesday or early Thursday. We never left until 3 pm Friday..... then found items on list were not completed. I took route 20 west going home into Ohio (Enud, OH if I remember correctly....and skipped all the Indiana tolls. Much nicer drive and cost about 5 minutes travel time. Hope this helps. Regards, Paul.
Update on visit. Spoke to 3 other owners staying in their coaches. Some like it, some don't. Factory tour is great. Walk through with explaination, & the chance to look in, touch, walk around and look during construction. You learn a lot. Jayco tour is excellent. "Rise & Roll" bakery & deli on route 20, about 10 minutes away, excellent. We had lunch there. Dining out in the area is VERY limited. Dutch restaurant is good, but the "Only Italian Restaurant in Middlebury" is a stay away from. More restaurants in Elkhart and surrounding areas. The toll boots on 80 in Indiana are VERY tight. I had no more than 2" of clearance on ea mirror going through. No oversize lane either coming from Ohio into Indiana. Exit booth at Middlebury was good. Toll was $15.90 for 50 miles, with the toad. Going back via RT 20 into Ohio to avoid this. They found a damage repair on the passenger front slide that began to spider.Repairing at no cost. Did you have any damage while you had the coach? Paul.
