Hello Van-gogh. Sorry for the delay in my reply. I have only just logged on for the first time in a long while. You must have certainly seen and been involved with many interesting events. I was blessed and highly favoured as a K9 Police Officer for Toronto Police for 24 years. I did other things but those where the best 24 years. We just had our first dog shot and killed in the line of duty a few months back. I have been retired for 5 years and loving it. We are also driving a B class. Your handle is familiar to an Airstream Rangeline group that I belong to.
I hope your visit with your Grandchildren was very enjoyable and memorable for all of you. Cheers for now

Why we enjoy RV'ing as it all seems to start a few weeks before we live the driveway in our RV. Most departures, we seem to head North for a planned college game event. Knowing we will be in the area for a week or longer if we enjoy the event and have our RV space Park. Once we arrive pulling into space which we can soon see other team flags, and logos smiles, and oh yes, the hand signs of love and respect. As I nervously try to explain to our grandchildren. Oh that, because we're number one....

During my years of growing up, I knew very little about my overall family History. I was born in Virginia, near Kentucky and at about age five my family moved to Florida. This was done by way of the Grayhound Bus. My father had gone ahead of us to find work for himself and after a year sent for all of us to follow the trail to the deeper south.

Many years and many questions about who our family was and where we all came from with yearly vacations back to Virginia. I began the beginning...

My Days as a Young Marine

About 1963, I had some school friends and together we joined what had been started a few years prior called the "YOUNG MARINES" His I was all of 14-years old and looking for a life of Adventures. TRUST me we were nothing like the real US Marines, just a bunch of kiddo, want to bees. We learned to march to 120-steps per-minute. We had no guide books as I did in the Boy Scouts and the leaders were all former US Marines. Some had held the ranks as...

Back in 1999, YTK was very much alive, and well as we had become empty nesters two years prior. Things were looking good with our jobs, as we enjoyed a cool morning walk during the Tampa, Florida State Fair Grounds, Supper RV Show. But once the cool morning and almost noon air had moved along we started another long walk and tour of the many wonderful inside displays setup. Generators, Tow Hitches more motorhomes of all sizes and classes. Wonderful I thought to look to my wife to see if she was...

My first ever Blogg, Most all of my life my family have been campers. At about 7 or 8-years old I sleep on the ground under the beautiful night sky. There I was with my father, sleeping like a real cowboy on the ground.

Back then in the 1950s, I was a big fan of western movies and TV shows which came along in the 1960s, when we got our first inside TV set. During the 1950s I was a big fan of radio westerns, like GUN Smoke, which I can hear today on the Serius Radio-148, by satellite....
