Question: when you cut the P32/30 Sumo springs, did you put a protective layer on the cut side of the spring to guard against water or dust intrusion?

Thank you so much for your R&D on putting P32 sumo's on the rear of a workhorse chassis.
I just did it and thanks to your many posts. IT WORKED.
