Carpet Replacement in my MADP
Iíve started my carpet replacement project. It was mentioned in another thread that this is a major project and I fully agree. I am posting descriptions and pictures on my blog if you care to see what is involved. The 9 mm sub-floor is going in today and tile should start soon after.

I'd take a look, but when I went to the site you linked to, it asked for a name and password.

Sorry, I am new to this "blogging" stuff. Try this: Larry & Linda's MA Adventures

Thanks for the new link Larry.
Thought I would add to Quick Tips link when you have complete, we do have people asking how much of a project it is to do what your doing.
You have good progress so far, will look great after all your hard work. :thumb:

I've finished the tile and have updated my blog with pictures and descriptions of the project. My carpet is due in this week and it will be installed next week. You can go to:

You do good work Larry :thumb: I have added to Quick Tips.
Thanks for added info on changing rollers also.

I've posted some final pictures of the finished project. These pictures show the new furniture as well as the new tile. I really like how this turned out, but as mentioned in earlier posts.....this is a very ambitious project. If I had it to do over again.....I would not do it. Replacing the carped is easy to do compared to converting to tile.

Take a look:

Hi Larry & Linda,
Great tile job! Huge compared to my little project of tiling a backsplash in my Ventana. I was glad to see you fitted 2 recliners where there must have been a (sleeper?) sofa before. That is what I am about to do, too. Do you have photos of the original interior, showing the sofas on both sides? My wife would like to see what it looked like before. Post a link here, please, or email me at bremerspeck at gmail dot com - incidentally, what did you do with the old interior furniture? thanks and cheers, Ronald

Great looking job. We are thinking of removing our tile and going with laminate or hardwood and replacing our smaller sofa with recliners similar to the ones you choose. Just emailed the DW pictures of your interior.

The completed job makes a completely new coach for you, Newmar should hire you for consultant. :thumb:
The new link was going to sign-in page, I corrected.
