Coolant volume question

I'm due for a coolant change so have been looking at other's experiences and advice. My little 5.9 liter Cummins certainly won't be as involved as the wet sleeve biggies but I find the coolant volume listed in the Cummins booklet (2.9 gallons) unbelievable unless it indicates the block contents only, which, if so, is not too helpful. When I buy supplies, I'd like to get enough but not have an excess. So, the questions:

Does anyone know the approximate amount of coolant for my 2006 Journey with the 5.9 Cummins, including radiator, heater, and hot water aide, that is, the whole system?

Absent an answer to the above, who is the best to contact for the info - Winnebago, Freightliner, or Cummins?

Thanks.

JT

Freightliner since they added the cooling system to the frame and engine.

On ours Spartan had all the info. Our side radiator ISC takes 12 gallons.

I have replaced the cooling antifreeze in our 2004 Journey 34H. Has same MHW aide and heater etc. and Cummins 5.9. I did not drain the block but flushed with a distilled water refill and then drained all out but estimated ~3.5 gallons remained in the hoses and block. Used 3 gallons of 100% undilluted antifreeze first to mix with distilled water left after flush, then added 50/50 mix (approx. 4 gallons) to complete fill which is somewhere between 10 and 11 gallons total.
Hope this helps,

I stopped at the local Freightliner truck center and asked the parts people to check on their computer using my VIN number. They came back with a capacity of between 8 and nine gallons, so they sold me five gallons of Detroit Diesel Power Cool concentrate. Now I need to pick up some distilled water. My bill was about $64 including tax.
