Emergency black tank valve blocked! NOT A JOKE need help soon.

I need reply as soon as possible.

Black tank valve blocked? 2ND time it did this, but came loose first time.
I was emptying BL tank was close to full (won't go that high again) every thing
seemed to come out okay, but when I was rising tank out the clear water came
out real slow and then stopped.

Thanks for your help.

Shower after.

Don, I think they make a fitting that goes right on your fitting where you hook your sewage hose up with a garden hose fitting on it to flush and clean your black tank, might try to locate one of these and see it it will work for you. One more thing, I would QUIT using the toilet till you get this opened up!

I can't find what rig you have or how old it is.

1) The black tank handle is attached to a steel rod. That rod can become partially unscrewed from the sliding door over time so you think it's fully open but it isn't. Check that first.
2) RVs sometimes have a plug that comes from when they cut the hole in the tank to insert plumbing. The worker doesn't always remove it. Eventually it works it's way down and blocks the opening.

Are you rinsing using an rinse nozzle installed in the black tank? If so the nozzle itself may have become plugged and the water pressure going through the nozzle has forced the clog into the very small holes in the nozzle. Flush the toilet a few times and see if water comes through to know for sure. If this is the problem then the only fix is to pull out the nozzle & clean. I did mine twice and on the second time I drilled the holes out bigger. Solve the problem.

Pick yourself up a RV Hydro Flush. they come in both a 45 and 90 degree configuration.

Touch Down and it flows.. Felt like the super bowl https://nuwaowners.org/forum/Smileys/funny/shocked.gif

Got the Flush King https://nuwaowners.org/forum/Smileys/funny/cool.gif pulled the lever on black tank it flowed
didn't get to use Flush King, but if the threat of using it is enough
for that BL tank that's good enough for me.. https://nuwaowners.org/forum/Smileys/funny/rolleyes.gif

Also thanks for the calls and pm's from the forum.
That really meant a lot to us.

Had the same type of problem in my Jayco 31E. the problem was 2 things.

1= there was a shelf in the tank just under the head and paper would lay there and not sit in the wast water to brake down.

2= When someone would flush with a lot of paper it would just drop into the tank and sit on the shelf in the tank. and not do a second flush with just water to clear off the shelf. After a few flushes like that it would back up into the head.

Also i have seen were people will leave the tank open for extended stay camping and the paper builds up in the tank under the head and the liquid drains away. this becomes like a funky paper machiea will comes dislodged and blocks the tank drain.

You shuld allways let your tank get full befor you drain. more water will have more head pressure to dump and longer in the tank will help it brake down better.

Here's The Geo method, it's a good read.
Guy does a good job explaining.

Is there any way to contact the manufacturer and GET THE NAME OF THE JACKLEG WORKER THAT LEFT THE HOLE PLUG IN THE TANK ( if that is the cause)? THEN WE COULD ALL VISIT HIM AND WHIP HIS FANNY .

Not that I condone violence but my Gosh! That suggestion was said with such an air of normality. Do we, as owners, really accept that kind of craftsmanship as normal?

If this is the cause I would force the manufacturer to dig it out and solve the problem! Especially a NUWA! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

If its not the hole plug and is solids build up, then, I make sure the tank is about half full with water when on the road and double up on the tank enzyme cleaner. As soon as you get to your next site, dump!

I fought the black tank because my grandaughter spent a week and did not heed the rules about TP usage, thus plugging it up on more than one occasion.
With the above unit you can close the valve on the unit and open the one to the tank which causes a backflow into the tank and dislodging the plug.
I have used this thing on a regular basis to flush the tank and keep the sensors clean, even if it was not plugged.
It is avail. at Walmart as well as CW.
