Papato5 - you didn't exactly say if you were an RV Mutant or not. If you're in - that would make you RVM5 and that would be fitting.

Campdaven RVM1
Flagship1 RVM2
Jdoc RVM3
4kids RVM4

We're growing in numbers and mutating nicely. Remember - the journey is the destination.

I run a 17 year old rig without babying it, and expect it to run and perform like a new one. We purposely chose a rig with NO slides, because of how we would use it: enjoying maximum space when pulling over for a quick meal or nap, rarely stopping more than a few days anywhere, only two of us, wide-body just feels "cozy", being quite adverse to expenses associated with slide repair on a 17 year old rig, etc.

I must definitely be a slide adverse RVM, so what am I #5 or #6?

Papato5 - you are RVM5

Big Oil Guy - you are officially RVM6

Welcome aboard!

This is awesome!
6 RV Mutants!
I sense the possibility of a fun gathering in the Fall.

RVM1 - it will be interesting to see if RVMs can gather - or if it will be like herding cats. Lol.

Papato5 provided a great RVM tenet. RVMs take it one mile at a time. :D

Have a great day Dave - and same to all you other RVMs out there (present and future).

And electric dump valves - don't have em. Don't want em. Lol.

Happy Prospector - was that your application? It sure sounds like it.

How about this:

1. Follow this thread.
2. Think about what you aint got, and ask yourself: "Why do I not miss this stuff, and why am I happy without them?"
3. Declare yourself an RV Mutant
4.Take the next RVM number
5. Post it here

You are welcome, one and all

We are at the other end of the RV spectrum with a large teardrop trailer. It has most everything a larger unit has, shower, satellite TV and radio... When boondocking we can pul water from lakes and streams and do some off road. Best thing, we get 20mpg

My name is Sylvia and I am an RV Mutant. :D I'll take RVM#9, please.

We are in the process of refurbishing a 1979 travel trailer that will likely end up being an complete rebuilt. I get a kick out of the folks who bought new or near new, admittedly glorious MHs, and then decide the amenities they bought were not to their liking.

I believe that often "less is more" when it comes to RVs. Want to see my "rv clothes washer?" Here she is... About Us
and it's made in the USA, (Nampa, ID) 20 plunges and most clothes are clean. I use it at home sometimes too.

I wanna Join! I'll be RVM10 (into double numbers). We are 1/2 timers. 6 months out and 6 months at the S&B. We spend 5 months down south, one on the road and then return to the nest.

I'm into modifying the 5er because I have to - just have to.
