overnight

Hi,

If I hook my trailer up to my tow vehicle overnight, is there anything special I need to do so I don't kill my battery on my truck?

Thanks, Shannon

Leave the lights off. :)

I always would hook up the night before a trip. 5 trailers over the years, never had a problem.

Just leave the trailer lights unplugged. The electric brake will be on if you leave it plugged and could drain the battery.

I agree, unplug the cord between the tow & trailer just to be safe. We have done a pit stop overnight on long trip at a campground where we park and sleep.
