New shelves that slide and storage

I removed the Washer/Dryer a few months ago which opened up some new storage area. But It needed some planning and work to make it something more than a big open area to just throw stuff in. I had bought some premade "Shelves that Slide" from Pull out shelves that slide custom kitchen sliding shelving from $30.95 pullout shelf manufactured in the US with 20 year's experience rollout pantry tray pull-outs roll a few years ago for home and liked the open concept as opposed to drawers under cabinets. Since then I have built a number of these myself so I decided to add three sliding shelves with an open side for taller items.

I ordered 3 sets of locking RV drawer slides form Drawer Slides 20" Set and 3 sets of mounting brackets from "Shelves that Slide" https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-L-...E:L:OC:US:3160. These come with the small screws that mount to the drawer slides. I picked up some 1/2" ply wood from Lowe's and made 2 actual stationary shelves to mount the top and middle sliding shelves on and a partition between the shelve area and the open area. The sliding shelve is made from 1/8 plywood bottom with pre-cut 1/4 'x 5' popular wood strips. The shelves are around 15" W by 20" deep with an open area around 10" high. Although its not Hickory like the other wood cabinets and trim in the coach with a little natural stain and a satin finish they look pretty good. I can close the original louvered doors and the area is out of site and with the locking drawer slides they will not open while on the road.

Here are a few pictures.

Very nicely done. I built a dog kennel in the space where my W/D was.

I have never found a store that sells those paper plates that can be put in a dish washer.

A beautiful job Don. Ironically, we were just discussing what to do with the large space provided last summer when we took out our washer/dryer. You Don have set the bar very high!
