Wait! I'm not one of the guys pushing Honda Red!

Great idea! Why didn't I think of that?

Good idea on the angle for the bathroom door.

Good Afternoon, Sent Eleanor on the parts run today,. Have started on the pass thru. I have like two days of okay weather (no big rain storms) to cut a big hole in the cab and get it closed up, and make a video of it too, (for you Gordon, LOL). Break times over, a hot dog and beans and a pickle, coffee to go

Well we have a hole!:eek:. (Notice my lack of red door mentioning) LOL. Now I have to clean up the cuts and weld in a couple of side pieces where the window was and install the gasket, easy peasy. Frank, moving the door was a pain with having to cut trim at an angle ect. and it wasn't much, about 7 inches on the one end but it really freed up a space and where you approach the sink area

Franka548 07-15-2017 07:25 PM

I understand about it being a pain and more work whenever you have an angle that isn't 90, and also understand when you re talking about an 18'X8' space that every inch counts and makes a big difference. Pass through looks good.

Looks great, Terry! M&G coming up Fast!:thumb::cool: Rail!:D

Good Morning, Another late one yesterday, one more small item and I can install the accordion pass thru gasket. then have the truck cab to put back together too,. Was hoping to find a couple air ride seats but no luck yet, (at least what I want to pay!)

Well we got the right side compartment doors cut out, grabbed Andy and knocked it out early, (before he could disappear ) LOL. now back to the pass thru to finish up today, meanwhile Eleanor is painting the wall panels before installation, and gluing the material on the drop down sleeper berth.

Gordon Dewald 07-16-2017 02:24 PM

Terry - WOW - things are happening quickly. Big things are easy enough, it is the finishing that takes the time. There is a saying that the last 10% takes 90% of the time.

Harley1994 07-16-2017 03:02 PM

Gordon, You are so right about that, LOL. What the plan is, is to get the big stuff done and trim and finish what I can before the M&G. The compartments on the right side house all the workings, Batteries, Electrical, Propane and storage.

Gordon Dewald 07-16-2017 06:02 PM

From the looks of the picture there will not be much space left unused. Are you going to build the compartments individually, in pairs or as a single unit? I can see benefits from all of the combinations.

Franka548 07-16-2017 06:05 PM

Looking good Terry, the extra help sure pays off in what gets done in a day.

Good Afternoon, I'm pooped today, really pushed to get stuff done. Gordon, the bays will be kinda separate, the battery compartment needs ventilation and to be sealed from the electrics, so that one will have a heavy wire mesh floor under the bats. the electrics will be sealed from the bats but have some ventilation for the converter, the propane needs ventilation, so will also have a heavy mesh floor then the last storage will just be sealed. Got the pass thru gasket installed, good thing it will be tested because it's supposed to.......wait for it......RAIN tomorrow . I'll try to get a video up installing the gasket, I split it into two so they aren't so long. I still need to do some finish work on both sides of the gasket but the bulk is done.

That is a huge pass through. I remember the first truck camper I saw had one that I wasn't Shure I could fit.
