Trailer wiring
Need help in locating a fault in my MH/trailer connection. I can rule out the trailer as when the wiring harness/plug is hooked up to another vehicle all lights function properly.

When I started this trip I had everything operating, then I lost the drivers side turn signals/ and running lights. Now I have nothing. I have checked the fuses up front, all seem ok. Does anyone know if there is an in line fuse someplace? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Trailer wiring fuses are in the rear of the coach on the driver side, at least in my 2004.

See this thread

If yours is the same, its behind a hidden panel that is either in your power bay or in the side radiator bay.

On my 04 Journey there are fuses for the trailer connection in the electric bay. On the rear (bumper side not the back side of the compartment) is a removable panel. Behind that panel are several boxes containing fuses and who knows what. Perhaps your Vectra has a similar panel in that compartment.

A hint from this forum: Turn on your flashers, then walk around your coach listening for the noise ... that generally leads you to the bay where the flasher and the fuses are located ... it worked for me.

My coach is a sibling of Ciderdog's ... so my fuses were behind a removable panel on the rear (toward the bumper) of the coach.

The first time I tried to remove it, I was stymied ... when they installed the strut for the compartment door at the factory a couple of screws were driven through the panel ... now I have cut out a slot where those screws are so it comes out easily.

Problem resolved, I think. With a freightliner chassis they put two fuse boxes in the rear corner drivers side that control trailer connections etc. I found two blown fuses so far, it is not easy to get in there due to several larger wiring bundles. I did not have the proper style fuses with me so tomorrow I will purchase and install all new fuses. 6-20 amp and 1-10 amp. Hopefully that will take care of the problem. if not I will repost with an update.
Thanks again to everyone on this forum for your help, it is an amazing group of people that participate.
