Just purchased 2002 National LTC 7390

Hello, first post here. Just purchased 2002 National Tradewinds LTC 7390 and pick it up on Saturday. My wife and and will be going FT soon and we can't wait. We were FT in a 5th wheel for a couple years 10 years ago and we drove a semi in the 80's, so we have some experience, but not with a motorcoach.

Any tips for getting down the road with it on our trip to pick it up and bring it home?

Looking foward to being a part of this board!

Thanks,
Ken

WOW :thumb:, What an awesome looking coach. I think that's the sharpest looking National that I've ever seen.

Awesome coach. Nothing in the way of tips that I can think of. Each rig has it's own little quirks and I"m sure it will waste no time in letting you know what they are. In case you aren't down with the proper levelling sequence it is:

Front jacks first, they are tied together so that as one touches, the other will continue down until they are both on the ground. They don't work independently like the back jacks

Back jacks down until first one touches, then put the other side down until it touches as well and then alternate until level side to side and front to back. You can raise the front more if you need to level front to back.

Enjoy it!

Thanks all for the replies and info! We can't wait to pick up the coach on Saturday. Our house sale closes on 10/31 and then we will be FT.

Very Nice looking Rig. You and your DW should have a Wonderful time, Full Timin in that!

Hello,
Per the owners manual there should be a control beside the jacks buttons to deflate the air bags, but I don't have one. How do I deflate the bags prior to leveling? Thanks for the help!

The lever for the air suspension is kind of hidden in a black "box" on the side near the jack control pad.. it is protected from accidental contact. there should be a silver (chrome) lever between the black plastic "protectors". at least that is how my 2001 Tradewinds is...........

Floor It - we are in Indiana for now until we can figure out making an income elsewhere south of here.

BEACH - I don't have the controller you describe. From what I have researched, it seems we have an automatic dump system that is initiated when the 'jacks down' button is pushed. I'm not positive about it though.
