beamisl 03-08-2015 07:07 AM

Bobby,

You can never have too many tools. Maybe some day someone will make a towable garage for that purpose. Who knows!

29 this AM and looking to go up another 10. Sure looking forward to the weather. Have a safe trip to Florida.

Morning all and hope you enjoy your cup of coffee as much as I enjoyed mine. Thinking about French toast this am. Wish I had some bacon. :(

Good morning.
41 degrees and the sun is rising to a clear sky. It will be nearly 60 today.
I noticed the crocus and daffodils are coming up nicely. Spring is here!!
Coffee is hot & delish.

Oh my goodness Lynne!! No bacon!?!?!?! I never let my supply on hand fall below 2lbs.

Have a great day :flowers:

Jay,

Husband does the shopping since he is retired and I still w--k. He won't forget again I hope. French toast was good with sausage, just not the same as bacon. Now I'm making a German chocolate cake for dinner today. Yum

Sun is out and blinding off the snow so no crocus's showing their heads. We still have about 8 inches or so around the house. Over 40 and climbing so should loose some of it. YAHOOOOOOOO!

Have a wonderful Sunday all, see you another time, Lynne

Franka548 03-08-2015 05:25 PM

Lynne,
That's my favorite, I have one every year for my birthday, that way it means more to me and makes the day something to look forward to.

Frank,

I agree, I love German chocolate cake. I make a pretty fine Pina Colada too though. It is just way to rich to make for two people so wait for parties for that one. It won't be too long and the rhubarb will be coming up and then I will be making pies. Like it a little tart with vanilla ice cream. Makes me hungry just thinking about it.

Oh well, couple months and it will be baked. Have a great night, Lynne

Gooooooood Morning

Well, how can you tell spring is near. Daylight Savings Time. Yaaaaaaaaaa!!! Let spring, long days, and the fun begin. Going to try to get some work done on the deck today. We are in the process of enclosing it with windows. Will make a nice difference here in the Western Rockies when the cold north wind blows or when we have bug season. Beautiful morning. Clear, moon light, and 29 degrees. Suppose i'll have to run an errand into town for screws today. Oh Darn, "Harley Ride". :-) Hope everyone has a beautiful day.

huntnski 03-09-2015 06:56 AM

Ok here is my plan to help our northern brothers melt out from under the cold winter. Simply have Daylight Savings Time start in January! More Daylight, more melting! Now I'm so proud I thought of that!:thumb::laugh::laugh:

Franka548 03-09-2015 07:22 AM

Lynne,
That's the way I like my Rhubarb pies too, tart is good.
Tim,
That's a good one, I'll have to remember that one.

Woa! I heard someone say German Chocolate Cake?????:D

I'll be right over. I know you''re going to need help eating it.

I always have one for my Birthday as well.

Only problem is Melissa only bakes me a small one 4" big now, if she makes one for my Birthday at all.

I use the big pans if I make it!!!!!! My Daughter buys me one at the Grocery store! Yuck!

Coffee stinks this morning. I think I made that pot Saturday afternooon.
But I rarely throw it out. I just check it for something floating/ growing before I nuke it. I'm not a coffee conisour. A life time of Construction Trailer Coffee will do that to you.

We're going to be wet most of this week. So you guys NorthEast of here make sure your Dam's gates are open.
Does the term "Frog Strangler" mean anything?

We're hoping to get a little more water in our lakes. So we're tickeled about getting rain this early in the year. Most lakes in Texas are 12 feet low or more!

Oh and Good Morning All Ya'll!:flowers:

Old Car Nut 03-09-2015 08:10 AM

Good morning!

Coffee is hot and fresh. Help yourself.
Sun has not yet risen here in the west but it's already 41 degrees.
Will rise to nearly 60 all week but rain is coming Wednesday.

Never been a fan of rhubarb. No matter how much sugar you put with it, it leaves a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. DW has the same problem with spinach and kale if cooked but not when raw.

Have a rockin day folks

Pa Miller 03-09-2015 08:29 AM
