Wash and wax

We are newbies and buying our first 5er this week a 2010 carriage cameo. It's always been stored indoors so the exterior is in superb condition and we want to keep it that way. How often to wash and wax? Should I use my power washer with soap and spray on wax or hose and hand wax. What should I use to clean exterior of windows? And any other pointers ya'll have would be greatly appreciated..

Beautiful unit - we had one stay next to us last summer. It was for sale too and if I didn't just buy our Jayco the carriage would be sitting in my driveway. Don't use a power washer it will peal away the stickers. Hand wash it with a mild soap. Use wax once or twice a year to keep it looking new. I use a liquid rv/boat wax easy on and off. Most important is check the caulking a few times a year. Water intrusion is an rvs worst enemy.

No to a power washer. Use any soft mitt or brush on a stick you would use on your cars. Sounds like the exterior is in great shape so any spray on wipe off detailing product will keep it looking new for a long time. The easier it is to spray and wipe the more likely you will do it. Find one that has some uv protection such as aerospace 303. Wash windows the same way you do your cars.
