Trickle Charger Question

I have a 2004 Monaco Monarch. I am adding a battery tender for my chassis battery and to the house batteries. My question is that I have read not to connect directly to the house batteries but instead connect to the charging solenoid. Is it better to do it that way or connect the + to one of the 6 volt batteries and the - to the other 6 volt battery? Any help is appreciated.

The charge solenoid is where you should connect in order for your AGS to monitor and properly charge the batteries. You do not want to overcharge them for sure. Keep in mind a Battery Minder is a maintainer and not a charger.

Thank you for your reply! So I do need to actually purchase a trickle charger and I will do that. May be a dumb question but I am not familiar with it, what is a AGS?
