Another Newbie
Well we are getting ready for our first major trip. Taken the Grandkids out locally here in PA, but are planning our first alone trip for hopefully a month in Florida. Any advice is appreciated. :)

The first thing is to have fun, the 2nd thing is to not drive to far each day.
I read a post on here that said, don't drive more than 300 miles a day, don't drive past 3:00 PM, and don't stay less than 3 days in an rv park. They called it the 3 threes. If you are the only drive you will see the benefit to driving less than 300 miles a day. Hope you have fun and enjoy the road. |

Be sure you have reservations at the most popular parks - ie, near major attraction or on or near the beach. Fall and especially winter in FLA many parks are full - we spend January and February in the Keys and Ft Myers/Naples - have to make our reservations 1 year in advance - but the weather is fabulous. We are in Destin, Fla now and really enjoying the great weather - rainy day here and there but just good days to take in a movie or curl up with a great book - enjoy your trip! Happy Trails to you.
