Snap Disc Inverter Bay

Hello, I have a 2007 Monaco Knight motorhome. Looking for the part number for the snap disc used in the inverter bay for the cooling fan. I was reattaching it to the top of the bay and accidentally touch it with a screwdriver. I saw a spark and believe I might have broke it. Thanks for your help.

If you saw a spark you probably blew a fuse. You should be able to short the two tabs together with a jumper. Bypassing the thermal breaker should make the fan run. If the fan runs the fuse is still ok. Then just use a blow drier to heat the snap disc up a bit to see if it turns the fan on.

The schematic on mine shows on at 90 and off at 110. I used a lower temp one since this would be the compartment temp and the electronics would be much higher. Heat kills electronics so keeping the compartment as cool as possible is important to me
You can buy them on Amazon.

Ditto, I concur with Myron.

Found the fuse was in fact blown. Replaced it and used a hair dryer to check out the Disc. Worked just fine. I did order another snap disc just to have a spare on hand. Thanks for the help.

It closes and opens with temperature. Just like a thermostat on a wall.
