Induction stove

Just wondering. Is there an 110 plug in under the stove top or behind the drawers? wanting to replace our propane stove top with induction i heard the was a 110 plug in for an optional dish washer under the stove top or behind the drawers. Input would be most appreciated.

Dennis, pull out one of the drawers to see if you have one. On our 38' the dishwasher was plumbed under the pantry and yes there was a plug and water connections. But that is the other side of the coach from the range top.

We just had our propane replaced with electric induction stovetop. Our coach came with a dishwasher and we had it removed. The plug is under the stove top against the wall and on its own breaker. Also got rid of the propane tank that weights over 175 lbs.

Your propane tank weighed 175lb?! How big was that baby?

Jim, what did you do with the dishwasher after you removed it?

Rusty Bear 11-14-2016 06:50 PM

According to the weights sticker inside the coach the propane tank is 175.5 lbs. when full (40Gal). The tank went the full width of the coach now is replaced with a new storage area. We had the dishwasher taken out when we bought the coach and don't miss it.

Rusty Bear,

Do you still have the dishwasher in storage somewhere? I'm interested in replacing ours.

Sorry, we left it with the dealer when we bought the coach.

On many RV's there is a spare 15/20 amp outlet around near the kitchen, Mine is in the pantry.

However you'd have to do a search...

NOTE: Induction "Burners" only work with feromagnatic pots and pans (Stick a refrigerator magnet on the pan, if it falls off. No GOOD for induction cooking) and 120 volt burners may not have the watts needed for some things (like my 5 Court very magnatic cast iron dutch overn) that one takes Propane, nothing else in the RV has the OOMPH.
