Hey everyone, please check out the post by "bcbounders" under the "Net Technologies and Innovative Solutions" forum: "Satellite Internet Options?" Here's the link: https://irv2.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9156094452/m/3061030631
Nobody has replied yet & I am hoping to bring a bit more attn. to the topic, as it is looking more likely every day that I'll be job transferring from CA to VA. What better way to drive x-country than in the MH? And, I would love to have www access as I go. How convenient for keeping up with news, campground info, comm with friends, etc. Thanks in advance! I suggest that you consider the only tripod mounted internet dish that is supported by the company that supplies the service. It comes from Starband. There are also the automatic roof mounted dishes that cost about $4500 and then $100 a month.

David,
Not sure when you will be starting your trek to VA. I recently purchased a tripod system, saw it advertised while in Quartzsite. They are out of Dallas, E-Z Aim and is Directway. Monthly access fee $60.00 I am somewhat directionally challenged, but has been easy to set up (so far). Bob https://irv2.infopop.cc/images/idea.gif |
