I'd like to replace our day night shades with 2" wood blinds but am not sure I can drill into the sidewalls to hold them in place.

Has anyone installed these in your coach and how did you do it?

You might want to talk to the vintage group. They may even have some of the blinds from yesteryear they are taking out to install day/night shades in! https://irv2.infopop.cc/images/curtain.gif
Ah, now I remember those were rollup wood blinds. Sorry, my bad. https://irv2.infopop.cc/images/laugh.gif
I am not sure that 2" will work considering the valance clearances but on some coaches it might. I have seen some coaches where the day/night shades are so cramped for space they are very difficult to operate.
Most day night shades are screwed up into the top of the valance. The wood shades could probably be mounted the same way.

We put 2" wood blinds in our last MH. Looked great, worked great, rattled like a muther going down the road. Big mistake for us. Too noisy. We would not do it again.

Never thought about the noise going down the road. Two of the windows would be right behind the pilot/co-pilot seats.

Have to re-think this one again...
