Horseshoe Bend COE, Rogers, Arkansas
Has anyone stayed here lately? The reviews on RVParkreviews are mixed.

One of the main problems is heavy rain that fell in May & June. The peninsula has been underwater since then and there's a lot of debris everywhere. The Corps has to wait for the water to go down more on Beaver Lake so that it can be cleaned up. The swim area at Horseshoe and Hickory Creek have both been closed all summer due to debris.

Thanks for the reply. I have been thinking about moving North to Prairie Creek COE instead. There are several sites that are available that will work with my 40'+ motorhome. It would be about 10 miles closer to my brother who is buying a house on the North side of Roger's. There is a RV pad on his property, but I want to see the road in to it before I just drive it in my new motorhome. He is wanting me to help do some light remodeling to the new house.

How funny, we are park hosts at Prairie Creek. The road into Prairie Creek is good. We have 40+ rv's in here all the time. However, only book sites 72-79 for your rig (50 amp + water). Those are most popular and get reserved first, so book ASAP. There are a few other sites you could park in, 5, 17, 82, but they are 30 amp. We have 112 sites but few that are appropriate access for big rigs. Good luck

1) What does it mean by having a shared water hookup? 2) Which site would be the best for my 40+ motorhome - 73, 76 or 77? 3) Which way does the pad slope? |
