Just wanted to know if this was a cosmetic issue or something more sinister?

at first glance, it appears to be cosmetic only. I can't exactly tell from bottom picture, is there water ponding at the white spot?

That is clear coat issue due to Texas sun. This was found during a pre purchase inspection. It's only on the roof, not sure if that's typical.
