I've noticed our Galley slide when fully retracted tilts out (and back in) at the top when we rock side to side from potholes or dips. I don't think it is much, but I can see it and hear it move.

Is this normal?

I would do two things --

1) When you bring the slide in, make sure you hold the retract switch for 3 seconds before you release, (per HWH recommendations) to make sure the pressure builds up to hold the slide in.

2)If that doesn't work, look at replacing your slide retract/extend solenoids. They replace quickly; my HWH tech replaced both in about 20 minutes.

Either you haven't built up pressure to hold the slide in, or your solenoids are leaking pressure and allowing the slide movement.

That's my 2 cents worth.

OF,

The bottom doesn't move. The top tilts out like it is on a hinge at the bottom. The top moves outward 1/2, maybe much less. The rams stay in place.

WOW--hard to believe the galley slide top would move at all given how heavy the interior end of the galley is. If the bottom is fully retracted [and, assuming the interior skid-pad is the correctly mounted on the floor--height-wise], I dont see how the top can move. To the contrary, the top edge of the galley slide on our 2003 actually rubs on the side of the coach due to the weight of the galley.
