You can search the forum using the search box with the Google logo, this issue was recently discussed I believe. Another option would be to drive the RV to an Auto Parts store and ask for help. They'll try a couple of cap options and sell you the one that fits. That way you don't have to buy, try, and return until you get the right cap.

Probably just a standard GM cap available at most auto parts stores

yep there were and I went thru most if not all of them..Here is what I found as well as a previous poster did...

"Nothing was available at Kragen, Auto Zone or on line. I did manage to find some at NAPA such as the Silverado caps, and while they fit the gas filler diameter and locking ears, the gasket didn't seal the filler pipe. This may have not been noticed by other posters."

thanks tho, I appreciate the feedback.

I was on a site or two that had the caps that appeared as if they would work, but when I put in the info for workhorse, they indicated they were not vented correctly or other reasons for not working...dam money pit:banghead:

What is wrong with the existing gas cap?

Last year the O ring on mine fell off. Couldn't find a cap replacement. I realized that I could just buy any gas cap that was the same size and remove the O ring and put it on my cap. Worked great.

Didn't think of that, but ordered one from Workhorse...and got an exact replacement
