I have an 02 Mountain Aire diesel pusher with 2 ceiling fans and I cannot locate their 12 volt fuses.

The rig has fuses on top of dash above instrument cluster, more next to the 110 volt panel in bedroom and still more in the outside bay with the 50 amp electrical cord.

I dis-engage the gear that operates the cover and leave the cover open all the time, covered by maxi-vent. The fan would not be running.

My DW was putting clothes in the rear closet and heard the cover motor running, this could explain the many times the batteries were dis-charged.

My thoughts are to pull the fuse and motor/s will not run when rig is parked for periods of time.

Any help as to location of fuses would be appreciated.

Thanks-- Aime-- https://irv2.infopop.cc/images/aeh.gif

You should have a 12 volt fuse in the bedroom panel labeled Fan. You can also pull the fuse in the Fantastic Fan. Just reach up, grab the fuse, give it a twist and remove it.

Look at todays earlier post on these fans. Call the company and you may be surprised.

TO; Norm Payne and Tony Van Helden,

Boy, now I know what " I can't see the forest because of all the trees " means.

As you stated Norm. reach up and grab the fuse and twist!!

Question, did you get in my rig and put those fuses up there?? I've seen them hundreds of times, but never paid attention to their location

This brings to mind the further value of being able to post a question and get responses on IRV2

I don't think an answer has to have earth shattering consequences for the question to be asked.

If one doesn't know-- ASK!!

Thanks for your help.

To; Jetsmania, Paul, Thanks again re; posting know- how
