I have a 1999 Alpine Coach 40' FDS and the Fuel Gauge Sensor is defective. I am having difficulty finding a replacement now that Western RV is out of business. Any suggestions?

Hi Jim, Welcome to iRV2. https://irv2.infopop.cc/images/action.gif

I'm going to shortcut this post to the Alpine Coach Forum where you should get better coverage.

Hello & Welcome Jim: https://irv2.infopop.cc/images/action.gif

The Alpine Fuel tank was manufactured by Transfer Flow, Inc., 1444 Fortress St.
Chico, CA 95973 , Phone: 530-893-5209, 800-442-0056 (toll free). https://irv2.infopop.cc/images/cool.gif If you were to contact them they may be able to provide you with the part, part number or manufacturer of the sending unit.

Thanks for the Info. I will try them tomorrow.

Jim, you may have to pull the sending unit and I would measure the height of the tank too just in case they need the info. GOod luck and keep us posted on the progress.

When you open the gen slide you should be able to squeeze back in there and get the tank info off the plate attached to the front of the tank

I have talked with Transfer Flow Inc. and they cannot supply my sending unit as a new unit even though they were the ones that originally manufactured the sending unit. They redirected me to:

Mac's Radiator
9681 Alondra Blvd
Bellflower, CA 90706-3658
562 920 1871

They will rebuild it for $100 plus parts.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I will post the outcome of getting it rebuilt.
