Hello from Oceanside CA: In need of a Southwind Wiring Diagram
 

Hello folks wanted to introduce ourselves as we are new to this forum and new owners of our first RV.

We just purchased a 1996 Fleetwood Southwind Limited Edition on an Oshkosh chassis with a 230 HP Cummins diesel mated to an Allison 6-speed trans.

Not surprisingly this coach has some electrical issues that I am working through one at a time.

I am wondering if any of you out there have a chassis schematic for this beast? A call to Fleetwood did not yield any results as apparently the company went out of business around 2008 and the new entity has nothing from that era.

Most of the problems are under the dash so that is the main area of interest for now

Thank you in advance for any help or any other insight into this model.

I searched the forum topics but could only turn up schematics of the coach wiring which I already have.

I placed a call to Freightliner but so far no response

Hi Gary & Tamara! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us! :dance:

Congrats on the new Fleetwood! Electrical schematics are hard to find on older rigs. Problems in the dash can many times be traced back to faulty common grounds. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
