Lightweight wood
Starting a ground up restoration of a 50 vagabond and weight is a major concern. Major weight would be the 8 sheets of 3/4 ď plywood at 60+ lbs each for the floor. Singcore honeycomb plywood weighs roughly 20 lbs each. Has anyone used this?
Iím also looking for what would be the lightest wood for the structural interior 1x2 lumber. Red cedar has been recommended. This will be used for furniture, cabinets and studs. Thoughts? Every little bit helps.

I'd use Fir for studs, white pine or clear pine for everything else....with pine, select tight knot type.....2x2's don't weigh much, but if you use those, as they are usually bundled together, cut the bundles before buying so you can see which ones are culls (worthless) and get the straight ones....they're 1 1/2 x 1 1/2.......
