Windshield washer reservoir removal?

I can't believe I have to ask this, but I thought this reservoir would just slide up and out of a bracket on the back side. I've tried but am afraid to break the reservoir.

How does this come out?

I have a 2004 National Seabreeze on a Ford F-53. It's mounted on Passenger side front under hood.

Thanks,

Mike

They're only $18 if you do ruin yours. Mine was rusted in place but the pump was bad too so I didn't mind cutting it out. Here's a universal tank kit.

I just left the switch out and wired it up to existing.

I should mention that the tank was held in place by a metal strap and there were two rusted self drilling screws holding it. Couldn't get them out so just cut the strap and then banged the heads off. I had to drill a couple new holes nearby for the new tank.

On my Seabreeze the tank sits on a bracket, bracket is bolted on to the frame with 2 bolts.

I can just lift ours straight up then remove it.It is on a bracket.

Thanks guys,
I got it out. It does slide up and off a bracket mounted to a vertical channel iron held on with two screws. It didn't lift off easily, I had to use a piece of lumber and pry it loose before it slid up and off.
I am surprised the force didn't break the tank, but it's off.

Thanks,

Mike
