Monaco Camelot awnings
Considering a 2008 Monaco Camelot or Holiday Rambler Scepter. It appears the main Carefree awning goes straight out? Can these be pitched downward somewhat otherwise they seem rather useless? Thanks

Assuming they are Girard lateral arm that Dynasty and above use, yes they are adjustable...can be angled down.

Thanks but it’s a Camelot/Scepter |
The one on my Camelot is useless.

How about getting a 2 piece sun screen?......

Can't recall at the moment the name of mine, but the support arms and cylinders on each end are visible. It is adjustable, but not a whole lot. It has to clear the slide topper before it can slope down. |
Mine is a carefree. Little bit older than the one your looking at, but mine IS adjustable. It does rub on the slide out, but hasn't been an issue.

Ours is a Carefree Eclipse.
I believe Perry's 08' came with the Carefree Mirage. |

Possibly
The Mirage arms are like the entrance door awning, so, I don't imagine they are adjustable much, if at all, for slope. |
Brianpr.... In the summer, they work great at noon!
You just have to move Happy hour up a few hours :D!! |

Now that's a thought!![emoji41] |
My 08 Camelot 42PDQ has a Carefree “Apex” awning. Two scissor arms. In my opinion they're useless. Cannot extend in wind above 10 MPH. Nor can you extend in any rain conditions as water pools and that weight will collapse the arms. Again, my .02

Yeah that's the one. I thought they were the Mirage.
