Recommend DP service provider in SE Georgia
 

Looking for a DP service and maintenance provider in SE Georgia.

Need annual service and have a suspension noise on drivers side near front wheel. On less than perfect paved roads I hear and sometimes feel a banging/chattering sound. My visual inspection has not turned anything up.

We have a 2005 Winnebago Journey WKP32T on a Freightliner XC chassis with a Cummins 5.9 ISB.
Ran across a post on this site within the last year. I tried doing a search but didn’t come up with anything.

There is FCOC in Gaffney SC. Not SE GA, but they are the folks that build the chassis. Been going there every year since 12 from Daytona. Well worth the trip.

Speedco in Brunswick GA (Exit 29 on I95) is my preferred shop for annual generator, engine and chassis service.


No appointment needed and you will receive a coolant analysis at no additional charge.


Engine oil analysis is available on-site for a small fee ($35 or so).


You will be in and out in less than an hour most days.



They may or may not help with the noise issue but they work from a pit underneath the coach and will have a good view if anything is obvious.

I just got mine back from the Freightliner dealer in Lake City FL which is just south of the GA state line on I-75. They did a good job.

Definitely! They've all but bent over backwards for me a couple times. The shops that I've talked to in ATL area are more interested in OTR trucks than RVs.
