Some days I do better than others. Unfortunately we go long periods without camping/towing & I get rusty. It may take moving the car a couple times to get it right. I few days of hooking & unhooking under my belt & I can usually get the Jeep where it needs to be on the first crack.

I lined mine up the first time then put a piece of tape on the inside of my wind deflector on the Jeep and another piece lined up with it on the step on my ladder. When they line up I know I'm straight and the right distance.

I use a similar method: when the hood of the Jeep aligns with a specific body line on the coach, I know I'm good.

Lots of Good ideas

Depth perception standard equipment. Pretty funny!! If moving the Jeep to RV I guess. 50% of time takes a second try. Whenever possible I back the RV to the Jeep. I extend the tow bar all the way and then just watch my rear view camera. Get it 100% of the time this way. Find it much easier backing the RV to the Jeep, but either way works.

Sounds like a nice toy $$!

It is! 28+ mpg on the freeway at the speed limit+ and 23 to 25 in town with lots of power. Much nicer than the '14 JK Dragon (modified) I traded.

I just pull up to back of coach, get out and hook it up, right 95 % of time.

I thought everybody did it this way.

After a couple of times, you should be able to get it right without any marker or guide. I just drive up to the coach, hookup the tow bar, safety cables, power coed, and break away cable. Then back up to latch the arms and get the TC in Neutral.

Like the coach always said, "practice, practice, practice."

After a few tries, you figure it out. I have a reference point I use on the back of the coach. When the edge of the hood hits that, I know I'm in the right place.

Yup, I also have the 2021 Rubicon Eco Diesel.

Take a look at the tow setup.
